Dress Forms Loved it! I’ve seen the results of your other classes before and thought "that would be neat to do sometime," but not enough to sign up for a class. I’m so glad that I did this time! I’ve always thought a dressform as a "nice to have," now I can see how it will be able to make my sewing even more enjoyable because I won’t have to be frustrated with the final fitting.

The wrapping wasn’t the least bit uncomfortable. It wasn’t hot or anything.

As I was putting on the design lines, I recognized every bump and roll that my body has. It was during the adding of the design lines that I had my "aha!" moment; I suddenly saw how I could alter necklines, add new kinds of darts…oh! the possibilities.

Thanks, again, for a wonderful class, Jean!

And I have already…posting raves onto PatternReview.com and craftster.og.

Although, it may be a little frightening to see your exact body double emerge from a turtleneck and duct tape, once you add the cover and your design lines, you start to realize "oh! that’s why I always gap there!" Then, you can realize how to work with the pattern for the future.

Once I added the design lines, my brain started thinking how I can change darts. And with my arms, I could now make a handbag pattern that fits my proportion and fits within my armsycthe. I loved when you showed us how we can use the dressform with our jewelry to change necklines in order to enhance the jewelry!
